Personal Matters

Section 7, Article III of the 1987 Constitution grants the right of the people to information on matters of public concern. Personal matters are exempt or outside the coverage of the people’s right to information on matters of public concern. The data treated as "strictly confidential" under EO 420 being private matters and not matters of public concern, these data cannot be released to the public or the press. (KMU v. Dir.
