ii. Indirect Liability for Intentional Acts
MANAGER
GR: A mere manager, who does not own the business, is not to be considered as an employer because as a manager, he is just a high-class employee.
XPN: A manager who is not an owner but who assumes the responsibility of supervision over the employees of the owner may be held liable for the acts of the employees.
NOTE: To be liable, the manager must be acting as an employer with the same authority as the owner
