Creation of Labor Management and Other Councils

The Department shall promote the formation of labor-management councils in organized and unorganized establishments.

Services to be rendered by the Department in line with the said policy

• Conduct awareness campaigns
• Assist the parties in setting up labor management structures, functions and procedures
• Provide process facilitators upon request of the parties
• Monitor the activities of labor-management structures as may be necessary and conduct studies on best practices aimed at promoting harmonious labor-management relations.
