iv. Recovery of Legal Custody and Restoration of Parental Authority

Reversion of parental authority to biological parents

If the adopter dies while the adopted child is still a minor, parental authority should be deemed to have reverted in favor of the biological parents. (Bartolome v. SSS, G.R. No. 192531, November 12, 2014)
