Z. Obstruction of Justice (PD 1829)

Decree Penalizing Obstruction of Apprehension and Prosecution of Criminal Offenders [P.D. 1829]

Any person who knowingly or willfully obstructs, impedes, frustrates or delays the apprehension of suspects and the investigation and prosecution of criminal cases by committing any of the acts enumerated in Section 1 of P.D. 1829, shall be punished:

• Prision correccional in its maximum period, or
• Fine ranging from PhP 1,000 – 6,000, or
• Both
